These calls were originally called “Emergency Food Assistance” but renamed “Resilient Food Systems” to reflect the group’s goal of intentionally and deliberately providing culturally appropriate food to Chicagoans, while building a more resilient food system less vulnerable to emergencies.We will be discussing how the White House can embody the spirit of this working group in the upcoming conference.
